"Innovative Design-Build |
|
The Design/Build process has become a preferred project delivery method across the United States. Private, public, government, and institutional
clients have all successfully utilized this approach.
Many in the industry feel that within the next few years, the design/build method will become the most accepted method used by Owners to procure a project.
Our philosophy is to work with you, our client, to create a custom, high-quality project that responds to your needs throughout an efficient, well-managed design and construction process. We believe that by integrating the design and construction process, we can offer our clients the best value for their dollar. We constantly are comparing the cost of the project to the design and the design to the cost, and by working towards the same goal, we can maximize the project for the client. Since the design team and construction team are always working hand in hand, we can save the owner money. This approach provides the client with the best of both worlds by combining creative design and quality craftsmanship. We believe that an organized, responsive design process is a crucial step in order to achieve a successful project. We start out discussing your ideas, expectations, and budget at the very beginning of the project so that we can work with you to insure that your expectations coincide with your budget. A traditional architectural approach almost always puts budget last, where in many cases you end up with a nice plan, but no construction.
Pinnacle Construction Services, LLC, is committed to the practice of sustainable design and construction.
Although sustainable or "green" design has been around since the early 1990's, the awareness and acceptance
of it in the marketplace has not become mainstream until the last few years. More and more home owners are
requesting that their project be completed in an environmentally friendly manner. This in turn has pushed manufacturers
and suppliers to develop materials and products that meet certain environmentally friendly criteria. It has been proven
that poor indoor air quality is one of the top five health risks in the United States today (source: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency).
The average person spends up to 90% of their life indoors, where pollutant levels can be 2 to 5 times higher than outside levels.
A 2001 study conducted by the U.S. Department of Energy also found that construction activity in the United States accounts for: 36% of the total energy use 65% of total electricity use 39% of landfill waste 30% of greenhouse gas emissions 25% of timber resources When we consider the impacts that construction activity has on our world and our health, it is easy to see why there is a movement across the country that encourages the wise use of our resources. Interior and exterior materials can now be specified so that your new living environment is a healthy one. We will not push you into a "sustainable/green" home, but if you are interested in some of the options available to you, then just let us know.
